Group E-Mail

Group E-Mail offers e-mail services to a faculty/institute—with or without mailbox storage space.

Services:

 

The two types of Group E-mail are:

  1. Shared Mailbox Group E-mail: The faculty/department can specify the email name and members who have full control (read, reply to e-mails on behalf of the faculty/department, delete, and create sub folders).  All members must have an email address ending with @chula.ac.th. The mailbox storage for this type of group E-mail is separate from personal mailboxes.
  2. Group recipient E-mail: The service creates a group e-mail for a faculty/department. The faculty/department can specify the email name and members who will receive emails from the faculty/department. All members must have an email address ending with @chula.ac.th or the faculty/department email address such as @eng.chula.ac.th, @cbs.chula.ac.th. The mailbox storage of this type of group E-mail is not separate from personal mailboxes.

How to use the service:

faculties/colleges/institutes/offices of Chulalongkorn University

  1. The faculty coordinator submits a request form to https://support.it.chula.ac.th Type of service: E-Mail. Name of service: E-Mail request.
  2. After the Office of Information Technology has received the request, an email will be sent to the coordinator with an attached manual.
Eligible users:

faculties/colleges/institutes/offices of Chulalongkorn University

How to use the service:
  1. The faculty coordinator submits a request form to https://support.it.chula.ac.th Type of service: E-Mail. Name of service: E-Mail request.
  2. After the Office of Information Technology has received the request, an email will be sent to the coordinator with an attached manual.
Conditions:
  1. The coordinator must submit a request form to https://support.it.chula.ac.th Type of service: E-Mail. Name of service: E-Mail request.
  2. Each member must have an email address ending with @chula.ac.th only.
  3. Members can be added as required.
  4. The form must be signed by the Faculty Dean or Deputy/ Department Head/ Institute Director or Deputy Director/ Program Chair or Deputy Chair.
