MATLAB Program for Chulalongkorn University

The Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, and the Faculty of Medicine have jointly purchased MATLAB, Simulink, and a full set of toolboxes for academic and research use within the university.

MATLAB Program can be installed on and unlimited number of computers with Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems

How to use the services:

Students, faculty, and staff of Chulalongkorn University

Follow the steps below to install and activate the rights to use MATLAB CAMPUS WIDE LICENSE for the students, faculty, and staff of Chulalongkorn University:

To download MathWorks software on a personal computer:

  1. Log in to your MathWorks account at mathworks.com/login, which is connected to your Chula email address.
    • If you do not have an account, create one using your Chula email address.  Creating a MathWorks account. Click here.
  1. Click on your profile name in the top right corner and select Associate License.
  2. Click Download your product now, or go to mathworks.com/downloads.
  3. Click the Download button for the current model.
  4. Select the supporting platform and download the installer.

Steps in installation and login:

  1. Go to the Installation program.
  2. In the installer, choose to log in with a MathWorks account and follow the online instructions.
  3. Choose the product you wish to download and install.
  4. After the download and installation, click to open MATLAB> Click Next.
  5. Check to verify the username and follow the rest of the process until installation is complete.

Conditions:

Users must create a MathWorks account by registering at https://www.mathworks.com/mwaccount/register.

Use your email address ending with @chula.ac.th or @student.chula.ac.th only. Then open your Chula mailbox to confirm the email address and create a password.
