Web Hosting Service

The Office of Information Technology provides web hosting services for faculties/colleges/institutes/offices of the university. It supports html, php web technology and MySQL database. Web masters can manage their own website storage through the Plesk program.

The Office of Information Technology provides web hosting services for faculties/colleges/institutes/offices of the university to publicize organizational information. The services include:

  1. Web-based Management of storage space and data bases.
  2. File transfer protocol (FTPS)

How to use the services:

Staff who have been authorized to act as webmasters

    1. Web hosting services are managed via web browser at
      Host 1 https://webhost6.it.chula.ac.th:8443
      Host 2 https://webhost8.it.chula.ac.th:8443
      Host 3 https://webhost10.it.chula.ac.th:8443

      Log in to the system to use the services.

    2. FTPS website file upload can be done using an ftp client connected to the server. Set up Encryption> Choose Require implicit FTP over TLS and use the “FTPS for homepage services settings”. Once you are successfully connected to the server, upload files to folder/httpdocs

**Note: To use the service from outside the university you need a VPN program.
